While enjoying your time at Lake Bonham during the summer months, there are several things you can do to stay cool. Learn more about these top ten heat hacks to use during your summer fun at the lake!


Hydration – Drink plenty of water during your stay at the lake in the summer months. Have plenty of water on hand, you and your family, as well as your furry companions. Consume twice as much water as usual in the summer heat.


Carry Salty Quick Foods – During the summer temps, the body can become low on energy and sodium reserves. Eat salty snack packs during your time in the heat. This can include salty trail mix, dried fruits and nuts, beef jerky, and other sodium-rich foods.
